Northam, farmer & grazier, manager of father's property "Seabrook" 1866-73. 1872 to Herne Hill & later to "Henley Park" Guildford. Retired 1891 to Canning. MLC for Swan 1-1878 to 5-1880, 1887 to 1889 & 12-1890 to 6-1894. President Royal
Agricultural Society 1877-8 & 1880-2. Member Comm. on Agriculture 1887-1891. Listed in York Census 1859, as master of a large establishment employing 4 men. Mr & Mrs visited Melbourne 11-1885.
