Did not marry. She was a second mother to her younger sisters, then after her parents died she ran the family business (Donna Hotel & appartments on Ala Wai cannal) until the properties were sold in about 1945.

After the hotel was sold she had the house at 2046 Mott-Smith Drive built. He brother-in-law Guy Rothwell who was in construction "helped". It was the first house built on that block. Later it was sold to her cusin, Edward J. Morgan, Jr. and Thelma Morgan.
